Interested in caring for the city’s natural resources? Volunteering with the Green Puyallup Partnership Habitat Stewardship program is a great way to give back to your community, get outside, and improve the health of a local park or open space.
The city’s Heritage Tree program formally recognizes and protects Puyallup’s most notable trees in the interest of preserving them for future generations. A heritage tree is one that has been determined to be of significant age, size or species, or has one or more other special characteristics such as its association with a historical event.
The City of Puyallup has been recognized as a Tree City USA for the past two years by maintaining standards of urban forestry management. Come do your part by volunteering to help plant during the Arbor Day Celebration.
